Lexus NX Interior And Exterior Overview
To simply describe the aesthetics of the new Lexus NX would be a lazy observation. Whilst it is true that the innovation here is world-class, it is also practical. Too often, fitting a vehicle with the latest tech runs the risk of alienating the driver. The Lexus NX, however, does a stellar job of ensuring that its tech is still relatively easy to understand and that every feature in its cabin is useful.
The latest range is available in 5 different models:
- Lexus NX 250 EX
- Lexus NX 350h EX
- Lexus NX 350h SE
- Lexus NX 350h F Sport
- Lexus NX 350 F-Sport
The Lexus NX is a welcome addition to the luxury SUV segment. While the redecorated cockpit is a pleasure to observe, the vehicle has plenty of safety features as well. This is especially evident with the inclusion of the Safe Exit Assist functionality, which can sense cyclists and even other vehicles around the car. The functionality allows the motorist to exit the vehicle safely. Let’s explore the rest of the features in more detail.
Lexus NX Exterior Overview
The exterior of the Lexus NX is downright arresting in its redesign. This range is more athletic in appearance, thanks to its sharp lines, finishes, and striking grille. Enthusiasts will notice that the tyres fitted on the Lexus NX are also larger. This addition makes the NX appear even more striking on the road.
There are some light touches that the manufacturer has affected to the exterior. The front grille, for example, is a bit smaller than in previous versions. It is also lighter. There has also been an adjustment to the rear of the vehicle, where the Lexus logo has been written out. The effect is an interesting one but nudges the model into a more modern space. Overall this touch also makes the NX appear more svelte.
The modern theme continues with the addition of a panoramic sunroof. This feature allows natural sunlight to enter the cabin, and contributes to the overall ambience inside the vehicle.
Lexus NX Interior Overview
Lexus turns up the volume when we peruse the interior of the cabin. Overall, the tech found here is designed to heighten the bond between the motorist and the vehicle, ensuring a more comfortable drive. Lexus uses the term “human-centred cabin” to describe the interior. This focus is evident with the leather seats, which are both plush and supportive in their design. The seats are also equipped with ventilation and heaters.
Another modern touch is the digital speedometer, which is a high-definition display of all the vital information that you need to have whilst driving. Safety is underlined with the digital rear-view mirror, which allows motorists to reverse their vehicles with ease and comfort.
